5 Fun Date Night Ideas in St. George

Hey lovebirds! Find yourselves passing through St. George, Utah, with a night all to yourselves and nothing to do? Are you a local, but finding that you keep defaulting to the same ol’ spots? Well, not to worry, because I have 5 fun date night ideas for you to steal for your next date night in St. George!

Let’s dig in, shall we?

Date Night Idea #1: Head to the St. George Museum of Art.

This is a great chance to learn new things and enjoy beautiful art. It’s also a good way to slow down and spend time together! Exhibitions change regularly, so if you enjoy your stroll through the museum, it’s a great idea for a repeatable date night!

Admission is free, but donations are welcome! A visit to the Museum of Art is a great, affordable choice for your date night in St. George.

Date Night Idea #2: Cocktails & Dinner at The Book Club Bistro

If you’re craving something a little more fancy, something with a little more novelty, The Book Club Bistro is a GREAT option!! My husband and I recently went for a date day and absolutely LOVED it! Not only are the aesthetic vibes to die for, but they truly put so much detail into the experience that you receive with them that it is worth every penny my husband and I spent getting to enjoy our quality time together!

A few of their cocktails even have a coordinating experience that comes with them! We watched a nearby table perform a manifestation ritual when they got their cocktails and I just about MELTED at how cute it was!!

You can view their instagram here + learn more about the experience they provide!

Date Night #3: Take a Taffy Class at Taffy Shop

If you love candy like my husband, check out Taffy Shop’s Taffyology Experience. It’s a great date night idea if you are craving more of an interactive experience + want to appeal more to the senses!! The Taffyology Experience (at the time of writing this blog) is $25.99/person and you get 20% off when you book the experience for at least two people! What a steal, right?

The admission fee covers the 75 minute experience and an individual kit for each guest. They recommend dressing comfortably, preferably something that can get a little messy! Their website states they don’t use dairy, peanuts, gluten, tree nuts, or soy. This is great for my friends with food intolerances! It does contain egg whites, though, so be aware of that!

You can learn more at their website linked above!

Date Night Idea #4: Take Your Pups on a Walk Down Pa’Rus Trail

Now, you got me, this is not in St. George, but I honestly think that 1) the drive is sooo worth it, and 2) the drive from St. George to Zion is part of the experience as well! You can find many cool stops along the way. You could spend half a day exploring between St. George and exploring even just this corner of Zion National Park!

Pa’Rus Trail is the only dog-friendly trail in Zion National Park, but it has such great views of the Watchman that you really can’t complain! This paved trail goes along the Virgin River. It is wheelchair-friendly and allows pets on leashes, as well as bicycles!

You can read more info about the trail here: https://www.nps.gov/thingstodo/hike-pa-rus-trail.htm

Date Night Idea #5: Go Skating at The RinQ

This idea is so fun!! If you’re ready to nurture your inner child and spend some quality time with your lover, I think heading to the skating rink is a super cute option!! Not only can you go rollerskating, but they also have mini golf, karaoke, and arcade games!! Pair this with a quick trip to the thrift store to pick out a fun and funky outfit for each other, and I think you’ve got yourself a groovy little date night in St. George, UT!
